    The "Dan Rek Beats" voice tag you hear when playing beats is to prevent theft, when you purchase a beat these tags are removed so you can record over the beat. Some beats do have a single voice tag in the intro of the beat as an identifier, which is mixed & sounds like part of the beat... this is only in the intro, the rest of the beat is completely free of any tags. However the majority of the beats don't even have an into tag they are completely tagless, and an intro tag can be removed or turned down if you purchase a Trackout or Pro Lease.
  • Samples
    The vast majority of the beats don't contain any samples or loops, they're 100% original so you don't have to worry about clearing samples or copyright infringement. If the beat does contain a sample it will say "contains sample" in the beat title, contact me if you need information on a sample.

How do I find a certain type of beat?

Use the menu in the upper left corner of the beat store to see our Genres & Playlists. Also use the search bar in the beat store to search for beats by mood, instrument, or similar artist.

How does the mixing/mastering process work?

You send me the individual tracked-out files from your recording session (email me if you need help with this), I mix them & send you a draft, then you give me feedback & I incorporate your feedback.

The number of revisions is based on the package you select, anything beyond that is billed hourly, we will keep working on it until you are happy with it, but usually 1-3 revisions is enough.

How does the custom beat process work?

You send me your ideas/examples, I make a beat for you from scratch & send you a draft, you give me your feedback & I incorporate your feedback into the next draft.
